Sunday Musings: Knight Stainforth Campsite Fireworks Extravaganza!

Knight Stainforth Hall FireworksI thought I’d create a new little section on this blog for little posts, the stuff that doesn’t quite fill a full post.

Welcome to Sunday Musings!

The first of these posts goes with a bang!
A photo essay of pretty fireworks from yesterday’s Firework Extravaganza at Knight Stainforth Hall Caravan and Camping Park, near Settle in the Yorkshire Dales.

This is a yearly event and the spectacular sold-out display was set to music: from the opening track of 2001 A Space Oddity to John Newman’s Love Me Again.

It was a fun evening and the fireworks were excellent!

There were lively activities for children in the barn as well as a bar, hotdogs, soup and chilli. VIP ticket holders got a meal in the new Knight’s Table Cafe and Tea Rooms!

Enjoy the show! (Why not find the above tracks on Spotify to listen to while you look and imagine you were there!)

  2. Looks like a fun night! I doubt we’ll have any fireworks this spring/summer here in Australia. But we did have some cool displays in July/August for winter. 🙂
